Response Paper #2
Located in the music building, the music theatre has an exquisite inside appearance with a formal brown extravagant interior feel with a public building exterior. I decided to visit this place because there was a music performance held there and my music teacher was performing there. She offers extra credit if you attend one of these events and bring her back a program of the performance, which is a schedule of the event. The kinds of people who visit there are mostly people who are there to watch them play; usually its their family members or their significant other supporting them playing, or they could be like me and be there only for an assignment. People who live there are sacramento state students since there dorms are very nearby. While I was there, I watched the music performance and just listened, trying to understand the intricacy of each music piece and how it relates to what I'm currently learning. I saw how the orchestra worked together as a team and how each instrument complimented each other, along with the passion each musician had while performing. Personally, I wouldn't go back to attend another performance for recreational motives because while I did find it interesting, it did take a while and I have other things I had to attend to. If it was for credit, then it would be a different story. If I were handed a ticket to anywhere in the world, It would either be to Philidelphia because I always wanted to climb up the rocky steps, or the great mall of asia in the Philippines beause I remember it being such a beautiful place and with it being right next to a beautiful beach, it's definitely a great place to visit.

Orchestral concerts can be interesting, but, yes, a bit "slow" as well.
ReplyDeleteAnd, you say you "remember" the Philippines? Have you been there previously?
